Summary: The host was kind and helpful. The room, while enormous, was shabby and musty. The clth covered furniture was badly stained, the bedding had torn sheets and pillowcases, the cloth covering the refrigerator had something on it and was in need of washing, the bathroom was really in need of s thorough scrub. No complementary water or coffee, but it along with other junk foods are present in the room for purchase. The hotel is surrounded be excellent restaurants and is just a short walk to the beach, and the Maenam morning or afternoon markets. I liked the area enough I moved to another hotel and extended my stay in the area.
