Villa Lucia is a traditional Algarvian villa over two levels, restored and kept true to its original style with a few modern twists. There are five en-suite bedrooms: one double bedroom on the ground floor and four bedrooms on the first floor.
Bedroom 1 on the ground floor is a double bedroom with a large birchwood king-size bed (160 cm x 200 cm), a dresser, mirror, and two bedside tables with lamps. The private en suite includes a shower/bath combination, toilet, bidet, and vanity with washbasin. This bedroom opens directly onto the swimming pool terrace and has side access to the kitchen and the rest of the house, with access to an eat-in kitchen featuring a large kitchen table and chairs.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an American-style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, oven, and hob. All crockery, cutlery, and glassware are supplied for a great cooking experience - just add the food. The indoor dining area has a large dining table with seating for 10, and a sideboard equipped with dining and tableware. There is also access to a hallway toilet with vanity and washbasin.
The spacious open-plan sitting room allows all guests to sit comfortably and features a built-in fireplace for cosy Algarvian winter evenings; firewood must be pre-ordered in advance for winter stays. Leading off from the lounge area is the cinema room with comfortable sofas, a reading library selection, and a large-screen TV. A beautifully crafted wrought-iron and wood staircase leads up to the second floor and the four remaining bedrooms.
Bedroom 2, the Yellow Room, is located at the head of the landing and features a wooden double bed (145 cm x 200 cm), two bedside tables with lamps, a mirror, and a full-size fitted wardrobe. Double doors open onto a private terrace with a small table and two chairs. The en suite consists of a shower room, toilet, bidet, vanity with washbasin, and side access to another terrace.
Bedroom 3, the Turquoise Room, located to the right, features a large Vietnamese wood king-size bed (150 cm x 200 cm), two bedside tables with lamps, a dresser with mirror, and a full-size built-in wardrobe. The en suite includes a shower room, toilet, bidet, storage, vanity with washbasin, and mirror.
Bedroom 4, the Pink Room, is a twin bedroom located to the left of the landing and has two adult-size single beds, two bedside tables with lamps, a dresser with mirror, and a full-size built-in wardrobe. Double doors open onto a private terrace with a table and two chairs, a great sun spot for morning and afternoon coffee. The en suite includes a large bathtub, toilet, bidet, vanity with washbasin, and mirror.
Bedroom 5, the Red Room, is a double bedroom with a double bed (145 cm x 200 cm), two bedside tables with lamps, a large dresser with mirror, and full-size built-in wardrobes. It has access to a small sun-soaked private terrace with a table and two chairs. The en suite consists of a full bath, toilet, bidet, vanity with washbasin, and mirror. All bedrooms have air conditioning with inverter heating and cooling. The pool terrace is furnished with outdoor dining for 10 people and sunbeds, with a traditional BBQ and built-in cooking area next to the swimming pool.
The property has good lighting at night and a full security system. Housekeeping services for winter lets are provided every two weeks, and pool and garden maintenance are included. A baby cot with bedding and a high chair are available and must be reserved in advance; this service is complimentary, however these items cannot be supplied at the last minute. All children must be supervised by an adult at all times around the pool area, and a life ring is provided on the wall next to the pool.
This is a NO SMOKING property; smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises, and any breach of this rule will result in forfeiture of the security deposit.
