Relax with family or friends at our home from home gite based in the rural hamlet of La Roche de Bord. We are in the Poitou Charente bordering departments of the Deux Sevres, Charente and the Vienne. We have a heated pool for lazy days at the gite or some amazing places to visit in the area, all within a short drive. For beach days La Rochelle is 119km / 1hr 40 drive and well worth a full days visit. We also have a few lakes not far for either fishing, kayaking or swimming.

Summary: We stayed for a week. The weather did not turn out as planned however Amanda was very helpful and keen to help and ensure things were okay. The trip was good and we all enjoyed our stay.
